Work out how many burgers you need alongside buns, salads and any other dishes. Check the number and size in the selected option, and ask Lee about ingredients if you have a specific preference or allergy. Burgers need thorough cooking throughout; unlike an intact steak, they should not be treated as a cut that can simply be seared outside.
Serving ideas
Try crisp lettuce, sliced tomato and potatoes, or serve without a bun alongside a salad. If you need a gluten-free meal, choose suitable buns, sauces and sides as well as the burger itself. Toppings and accompaniments are suggestions, not included unless stated. Prepare them before cooking and follow the label for refrigeration, cooking and safe handling.

Cooking Mac Daddy Burger
Check the cut and weight with Lee and follow the product instructions. Use a clean thermometer rather than judging doneness by time alone. For poultry, pork, minced meat, sausages, rolled joints and mechanically tenderised meat, cook thoroughly: the centre should reach 70°C for 2 minutes, or 75°C for 30 seconds. Clean the thermometer before and after checking.
How to plan a Sunday roastLee’s tip
Toast the bun
This one is generous — cook it through, then toast the bun cut-side down in the same pan so it soaks up the flavour.
What goes with it?
Mac and cheese on the side, pickles and crispy onions. An IPA or a chocolate milkshake.
