Choosing for your meal
Decide how many people you are feeding and whether the meat will be combined with vegetables, a sauce or other ingredients. Confirm the selected weight or quantity and ask Lee which preparation suits this particular cut if the instructions are not listed. Any seasoning or marinade should come from the product details, not an assumption based on the name.
Serving ideas
Rice, potatoes and vegetables are flexible accompaniments, chosen to suit your recipe. Organise the sides before cooking and follow the appropriate method for the meat and preparation. “We really enjoyed our meat from the Butchers Blade. We ordered some sausages (made gluten free as standard which is fantastic for someone with coeliacs and rare!!).”

Cooking Lamb Kebabs
Check the cut and weight with Lee and follow the product instructions. Use a clean thermometer rather than judging doneness by time alone. For poultry, pork, minced meat, sausages, rolled joints and mechanically tenderised meat, cook thoroughly: the centre should reach 70°C for 2 minutes, or 75°C for 30 seconds. Clean the thermometer before and after checking.
How to plan a Sunday roastLee’s tip
Turn and baste
Brush the kebabs with a little lemon and oil as they cook to keep them juicy and help them char.
What goes with it?
